Nyamira County elected leaders have expressed concern over rising cases of fire outbreaks in learning institutions in the area.
Led by Senator Okongo Omogeni, MPs Joash Nyamoko (North Mugirango), Mrs Jerusa Momanyi (Woman rep) and several members of the County Assembly, the leaders petitioned both the National and County governments to urgently address the matter.
They spoke during a funds drive in aid of the construction of a dormitory gutted by fire at Riomego Primary School in North Mugirango Constituency recently.
