- Mutuya Primary School has received two new classrooms constructed through the Ruiru NG-CDF to ease congestion and improve learning conditions.
- Ruiru MP Simon King’ara said the project reflects ongoing efforts to invest in education infrastructure across the constituency.
Learners at Mutuya Primary School in Ruiru Constituency are set to benefit from improved learning conditions following the completion of two new classrooms constructed through the local National Government Constituency Development Fund (NG-CDF), easing pressure on existing facilities and expanding space for studies.
The newly completed classrooms are ready for use and are expected to provide learners with a more conducive environment for learning while addressing the school’s infrastructure needs.
Speaking after the completion of the project, Ruiru MP Simon King’ara said the classrooms were part of ongoing efforts to improve education infrastructure and enhance the quality of learning across the constituency.
“We are committed to investing in education because it is the foundation for the future of our children. The completion of these two classrooms at Mutuya Primary School will provide learners with a better and more conducive environment to study,” King’ara said.
The MP said the additional classrooms would help reduce congestion and ease pressure on existing learning spaces, enabling learners to study in adequate and suitable facilities.

He added that the Ruiru NG-CDF would continue supporting education projects across the constituency, noting that modern and adequate learning facilities were essential in enhancing academic performance.
King’ara further said the Government was committed to ensuring learners in public schools have access to facilities that support effective teaching and learning.
He urged the school administration, teachers and the local community to take responsibility for maintaining the new classrooms and ensuring they remain in good condition for the benefit of learners.
The two classrooms are part of a wider programme of education infrastructure projects being implemented through the Ruiru NG-CDF to improve learning facilities and enhance access to quality education for students in the constituency.
