A form four boy aged 17 years has committed suicide in Makueni County leaving Ngoni village in shock.
The boy, who is a student at Mumbuni secondary in Machakos County, hanged himself using a belt on the roof of their sitting room.
The boy’s parents expressed their shock saying he looked okay before he went to sleep.
Kisau location Chief Daniel Mutinda said the deceased grandmother Muloko Nzangi had just returned from Ngoni market and went to pick a spotlight from the deceased father’s house when he found the body of his grandson hanging.
Police arrived at the scene and investigations have begun in determining what caused the boy to take such drastic measures.
The body was moved to Tawa funeral home awaiting postmortem and thereafter a burial.
