Equity Group has awarded scholarships to a total of 321 students in Machakos County under the Wings to Fly and Elimu Scholarship.
County Executive Committee Member for Education Ruth Mutua urged the students to double their efforts in school to succeed as they plan to join high school in August.
“Equity Group has put a seed in your hand. It’s up to you to grow it into a tree through discipline and commitment,” said Mutua.
Speaking during the event held at Machakos Boys High School, Mutua commended Equity group and the other stakeholders for touching the lives of the beneficiaries and renewing their hopes.
