The chairperson Dr Ronald Wamalwa said they had gone on strike in September and November over the issue of the CBA.

Dr Wamalwa noted that they had to go out and push the government for quite a long time and their strike has borne fruit as they now have the Ksh9.76 billion deal.

Overall, the union said they had a successful strike and have achieved what they wanted, acknowledging the national SG Dr Constantine Wasonga for resolutely leading the industrial action.
