UASU Secretary General for Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) Robonson Juma has disclosed that the union has lost five members on disciplinary grounds.
Speaking yesterday during the UASU AGM in which almost 80 percent of members turned up, Juma revealed that they were negotiating with the VC Solomon Shibayiro to find it in his heart to pardon them.
The SG emphasized that they are taking the matter seriously as a union, and have started talking to the management.

Members expressed gratitude for the direction the union is taking, just as the officials promised them to keep on working towards achieving more milestones.
