The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has issued an urgent notice asking examiners to update their profiles on the examiners’ portal by September 30, 2023.
The teachers have been asked to provide their current passport-size photograph (1″ by 1″), current workstation and any other required information.
The Council added that failure to do so may impact their eligibility for participation in the 2023 national examination marking exercise.
The notice said that to access more details, interested teachers should log into the portal through the address: ‘examinersapp.ac.ke’ using their credentials.
This comes even as the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General Collins Oyuu threatened that its members will boycott administering the national examinations if the 2022 invigilators and markers will not be paid.
