Parents and guardians of students at Senior Chief Koinange Girls School in Kiambu County have been advised to pick up their children from the institution beginning 8:00 a.m. today following reports of heightened tension among learners.
According to information received by parents, the school administration issued a communication requesting them to collect their daughters amid fears of a possible unrest situation.
Sources indicate that some students had reportedly raised concerns over undisclosed issues and threatened to stage a strike.
The precautionary move is aimed at safeguarding students and preventing any potential disruption within the school.
By early morning, parents had begun making arrangements to travel to the institution in response to the directive from the administration.

The development comes as schools across the country remain vigilant following recent cases of student unrest and school fires that have raised concerns over learner safety and discipline.
