Kenya Union of Post Primary Education of Teachers (KUPPET) Kisumu County branch has opposed the Government’s directive of changing the colours of school buses to yellow.
Speaking in Kisumu Town, KUPPET Executive Secretary Mr. Zablon Awange said that it was a misplaced idea and the government should revise its stand.
Mr. Awange pointed out that schools are using different colors to market their schools therefore making the colours yellow will affect most of the schools in terms of their identity .
The same sentiments were echoed by the Director of Golden Elite Schools Mr Charles Ochome who said that government should look for better ways of dealing with the road accidents.
