The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA), a Mathematics and Chemistry graduate from Marinwa, in Narok South Sub County, in Narok County has launched his second book, titled ‘Building the Culture of Leadership’.

Kipngetich Ruto, a promising young university graduate achieved the remarkable milestone in his inspiring journey after sheer determination to make a different in his academic trails.

Kipngetich’s story defined by determination, courage, and deep faith has shown him moving different ladders to leave a mark in the scribes’ world.

From his early days at Marinwa Primary School through Ngiito Secondary School and eventually at CUEA, his path was marked by financial struggles, emotional battles, and moments when quitting seemed easier than going on.

But in every painful chapter, he chose prayer over despair and faith over fear.

“I learnt that life can break you or build you,” he shares. “And when you trust in God, your tears can water your destiny.”

It was during his most difficult seasons that Kipngetich discovered his voice as a writer. Instead of letting hardship silence him, he turned his tears into ink and his pain into purpose. His first book, ’Try Again’, became a beacon of encouragement — urging everyone facing discouragement to rise and pursue their dreams again.

Now, with the launch of his second book, ‘Building the Culture of Leadership’, he shifts his mission to leadership transformation.

The book emphasizes three powerful pillars of leadership: lead with purpose, lift others, and leave a legacy that lasts. Kipngetich believes true leadership is not measured by titles or positions, but by service, empathy, integrity, and impact.

“Leadership is about showing the way, supporting others, and living in a manner that inspires future generations,” he says.

As he unveils his book today, Kipngetich credits his family, friends, mentors, and community for standing with him throughout his journey.

His story is a reminder that when faith meets resilience, greatness unfolds. Today, Kipngetich Ruto is not just launching a book — he is launching a vision for a generation of leaders who live with purpose, lift those around them, and build legacies that endure
