The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued a public alert warning Kenyans about fraudulent recruitment adverts circulating on social media and other online platforms.

In a statement released through its official communication channels, the Commission cautioned job seekers against falling prey to fake notices purporting to announce teaching vacancies under TSC.

The commission clarified that it has not authorized any recruitment advertisement outside its verified platforms and stressed that scammers are using such fake postings to mislead qualified teachers, collect personal data and in some instances, solicit money from unsuspecting applicants.

TSC reiterated that all official job vacancies, recruitment guidelines and related updates are only published on its official website (www.tsc.go.ke), its verified Facebook page, and its official X (formerly Twitter) account, @TSC_KE.

The commission urged teachers and the general public to disregard unverified adverts and avoid sharing misleading information.

It further encouraged anyone who comes across suspicious recruitment notices to confirm their authenticity through TSC’s official channels.

The warning comes amid a surge in online job scams targeting professionals across various sectors, prompting TSC to reaffirm its commitment to transparency and integrity in its recruitment process.
