TSC invites teachers who resigned, dismissed since 2018 to apply for benefits

The Teachers Service Commission headquarters in Nairobi. TSC has invited former teachers who resigned or were dismissed since 2018 to apply for processing of terminal benefits.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has issued a new circular inviting all teachers who resigned or were dismissed from service between April 6, 2018, and the date of the circular to report to their respective TSC county offices for the immediate processing of their terminal benefits.

According to the Commission, the directive aims to ensure that former teachers who left service, either voluntarily or through disciplinary action, have the opportunity to access their dues without unnecessary delay.

The move is part of TSC’s ongoing efforts to streamline the management of teacher welfare and to clear pending benefits cases.

Affected teachers are required to present valid identification documents, employment records, and any other relevant supporting documents to facilitate verification and computation of their dues.
