Teachers of technical subjects across the country have been invited to a national professional development workshop aimed at strengthening the delivery of Competency-Based Education (CBE) and improving performance in Business Studies, Agriculture and Home Science at the KCSE level.

The workshop, scheduled for May 23, 2026 at Kenyatta University (Main Campus), will bring together educators from across the country in a one-day intensive training forum running from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event is being organized by University World Agency, powered by Soma Kitu, as part of ongoing efforts to support teachers in adapting to evolving curriculum demands and assessment standards.

According to the organisers, the forum is designed to equip teachers with practical teaching strategies that align with CBE expectations, with a strong emphasis on learner-centred approaches, skills development and improved classroom delivery of technical subjects.

The training will also focus on enhancing KCSE performance in the targeted subjects by exposing teachers to proven pedagogical techniques and examination-oriented approaches.
