Several students from Chogoria Girls High School were rushed to Chogoria Hospital on Monday evening following a disturbance within the institution that sparked panic among learners.

According to sources at the scene, the incident unfolded after the school was unexpectedly plunged into darkness following a power outage. Moments later, cries and screams were heard from different sections of the school compound, creating confusion and fear among students.

The commotion quickly escalated, prompting authorities to intervene. Police officers responded swiftly and were deployed to the school to help restore order and ensure the safety of learners and staff.

Electricity was later restored as security personnel continued to monitor the situation and assess the circumstances surrounding the disturbance.
