Grade 10 students at St Peters Seminary-Mukumu have been urged to maintain high level of discipline by observing school rules and regulation to excel in their Senior School academic cycle.
Speaking during the induction session, the Kakamega Catholic Diocese Bishop Reverend Joseph Obany emphasized the need for discipline saying the school besides academic purpose, also serve as a centre of formation for those who aspire to become catholic priests.
He urged the students to learn from their seniors and uphold the school values and principal of nurturing morally upward persons in the community.

He observed that the school is well known for grooming all round students, who are discipline and hardworking.
The bishop also used the occasion to dedicate the new alter and lauded the school management for conducting major facelift to most structures in the school.
On his part the school Rector Father Antony Ndondolo reiterated that the school has been recording good results for the last four years and this year they managed position two in the county while leading the school under the diocese.
He also said that they managed to send 57 to University from the entry 58 students who sat the exams
