St Mary’s Yala receives new sports equipment in readiness for Nyanza region games

St. Mary’s Boys High School, Yala has received a major boost ahead of the Nyanza Region Secondary School Games after securing a fresh consignment of sports equipment.

The sports gear including jerseys, balls, and other essential sporting materials arrived just in time as the institution prepares to fly Siaya County’s flag in the regional competitions kicking off tomorrow.

The acquisition was made possible through the Chief Principal Victor Makanda’s personal networks and commitment to elevating co-curricular engagement.

Makanda, speaking at the school, underscored the school’s broader mission to integrate sports and academics as complementary pillars of student development.
