St. Cecilia Nangina Girls High School, situated in Funyula sub-county, Busia County, is poised to set a new record in this year’s KCSE examination.

Speaking during a recent prayer session held for the candidates, the school’s Principal, Victoria Alukum, expressed unwavering optimism in the students’ potential.

“Our teachers have gone above and beyond, and we firmly believe that we can shatter records this year. Our target is a mean score of 7.5 and above,” Alukum affirmed.

In line with her vision for the school, the Principal aspires to see the school significantly increase the number of students gaining direct entry to universities.

Additionally, she extended her gratitude to the sponsoring church, parents, teachers, and the board of management for their unwavering support in realizing the school’s vision.

Father Christopher Barasa of Nangina parish, a guest at the event, encouraged the candidates to face the upcoming examination with courage, with the goal of establishing the school’s presence on the national academic stage.
