St Anthony’s Boys High School, Kitale, have been crowned champions of the 2025 Kitale Polytechnic Rugby 10s Tournament after a resounding 31–7 victory over Kisiwa Technical Institute in the final.
The Solidarity Boys delivered a commanding performance in the title match, showcasing tactical brilliance and physical dominance from the outset. Their attacking flair and disciplined defence left little chance for Kisiwa to gain a foothold in the game.
From early possession to clinical finishing, St Anthony’s controlled the tempo and dictated play. Each try was a product of well-coordinated team efforts and quick ball movement, drawing cheers from an enthusiastic crowd gathered at the Kitale Polytechnic grounds.

The win marks a significant achievement for the school, which is traditionally known for its football and hockey programmes, and signals a strong entry into the competitive rugby scene.
Kisiwa Technical, who fought bravely throughout the tournament, struggled to keep up with the relentless pace of their opponents in the final. Despite the loss, their journey to the championship match earned them respect and recognition.
