Shining at the regional levels, Sosit Girls are headed to the national levels. The Kericho-based institution was accompanied by their neighbour school, Chelilis Girls, who unfortunately could not proceed to the next level.
Sosit Girls are known for their exemplary performance in the music category, and their performance in the class 473 Kalenjin folk song came as no surprise.
Stakeholders have lauded the institution, with many taking to social media to show their support.

The regional music festival was hosted at Nakuru-Nakuru Girls, where different schools showcased their talents.
As the festival, which showcased talent and rich culture, ends today, some schools have already secured a spot at national levels to be held in Meru, while others have been sent home with the title of reaching regional levels.
Aside from Sosit Girls, Ravine Green View School is going to the national levels in Class 1019G.
Emanman Comprehensive School from Turkana won the Kipsigis folk song, Kerio Boys won in spoken instruments, and Tarakwa High School won in the spoken instruments category.
