Shinyalu Member of Parliament, MP Fred Ikana has commissioned Ivakale Primary School and JSS storey tuition bloc hosting 8 classrooms being the first ever school to be handed over in the constituency.
Speaking during the handing over ceremony on Sunday Ikana disclosed that through his efforts and commitments he will complete school projects to improve learning environment in the area.
“We want these students to be committed in learning in the new building and pass their exams, proceed to university, and come back to Shinyalu to support leaders in developing the area.” Ikana stated
In his remarks, the newly commissioned tuition bloc will transform the learning environment in Shinyalu and attract good results among learners and teachers.

The MP expressed gratitude to his counterparts including Lugari MP Nabii Nabwera, Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali, Woman Rep Elsie Muhanda and religious leaders for their great support in developing schools
He reiterated that Shinyalu has been left behind in development agenda for decades but while he entered parliament he had more pledges which are to be fullfilled in his manifesto
Ikana also lauded MP Shinali a follower of Salvation Army for strongly supporting development of all schools without discrimination.
