Pupils, teachers and parent at Koige Secondary School took to the streets in celebration after the National Land Commission (NLC) gave back to them a 2-acre piece of land that had been grabbed.
NLC Chairman Muhamad Swazuri handed over to the school the title deed for the 2-acre piece of land recently.
Swazuri said that his commission was in the final stage of processing title deeds for all Government schools, adding that this will go a long way in ensuring that grabbers are kept at bay.
Parents from Koige Secondary School have been protesting against grabbing of the school land.
There was pomp and dance at Koige secondary school in Mau Sammit, Molo in Nakuru County after the school received back the grabbed piece of land.
