Schedule for KEPSHA conferences released

The Kenya Primary School Head Teachers Association (KEPSHA) conferences are set to take place in different regions across the country starting from 21st of this month. The meetings are expected to climax and wind up on May 6.

The national Annual General Meetings for KEPSHA is also set to take place as from November 4 to November 10 in Mombasa where they will be celebrating the 20th anniversary.

Coast region teachers will host the first meeting and conference from April 24 to April 25 at Farm View Hotel, Busia County as Central will hold theirs at Thingitu Secondary School in Likipia County from April 24 to April 28.

Nairobi County teachers will be heading to Bamburi Beach Hotel in Mombasa from April 21 to April 23, Eastern at the same time as from April 24 to April 28 will be at Ronald Ngala Primary School in Mombasa County.

On the other hand, Nyanza teachers will be at Gusii Staduim, Kisii County from April 23 to April 27 as their counterparts from Rift Valley converge at Nanyuki, Laikipia County from May 3 to May 6.

The major topics expected to make the headlines in these meetings and conferences are the capitation of the Junior Secondary School and Primary Schools, and Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) transition in schools among other things.
