After thrashing the previously unbeatable Kaboson, Cheptalal Girls have once again proved themselves in Eldoret by sweeping aside their opponents, St. Joseph’s Kirandich. Cheptalal will now proceed to the next tier after an entertaining game.
The match, held at Eldoret Polytechnic, drew a massive crowd of fans, most of whom congratulated Cheptalal for their prowess and dedication. The Konoin-based school is among the few schools in Bomet County to reach the regional level, and many believe they have a strong chance of advancing to the national stage.
Florence Koech, the Cheptalal Principal, is credited as the driving force behind the girls’ success. Mrs. Koech previously served as the head of Kaboson Girls, a school that has long held the title of Bomet County.
“Congratulations to Cheptalal and especially to the principal, who has worked tirelessly to see the team win,” Kiprotich Elias wrote on Facebook.
