Tabaka Ward MCA Jimmy Kenyenya while consoling the family, cautioned teachers against sending younger children home unaccompanied by their elder siblings to avoid danger.
The father of the deceased who identified himself as John Ndarera, appealed to Kisii County Governor Simba Arati or any other well-wisher to chip in and assist them in the plans to bury their child.
“We are poor to afford the sendoff please let anyone come and help us.” He said.
Residents asked tractor drivers doing the roadwork at the area to be accompanied by a second person to direct them as they concentrate in the working process to avoid any further accidents on the curious children who keep on following the furrowing machines for fun.
