Kilungu Sub-county chairman in sports, Sylvester Wambua, has challenged parents to encourage and support their children in participating in co-curricular activities.
Wambua noted that some parents do not want their children to participate in games, adding that they are doing them more harm than good.
“Sports itself is a form of employment. It even helps children to be alert in class and keep fit, besides other benefits. We should support them fully,” Wambua said.
