More than 50 pupils at Mavueni Primary School in Kilifi North Constituency Kilifi County are being forced by the school head teacher Emanuel Karuke to repeat class seven instead of proceeding to class eight.
The 57 pupils who were forced to repeat class seven refused and were chased out of school compound.
Majority of them are girls who said they wanted to proceed to class eight because they feel they are aging.
