The County Government of Machakos has received a valuable donation of computers, along with a modern printer, to bolster ICT training at Vocational Training Centers.
The equipment was delivered to Governor Wavinya Ndeti by a team from Osho Chemicals, led by Stanislaus Banda.
Accompanied by her Deputy, Francis Mwangangi, and other government officials, Governor Ndeti expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its positive impact.
She also extended an invitation to potential partners to collaborate with the County Government in advancing digital literacy.
“My government’s commitment to fostering digital literacy for societal progress remains steadfast, and I’m delighted to receive computer equipment donations from Osho Chemicals Limited,” the Governor stated.
She commended the Department of Special Programmes for their coordination of this initiative and assured that the donated equipment would greatly benefit the Vocational Training Centers and youth polytechnics under their care.
