Businessman donates 20 computers to school in Kisii to boost learning

Maroo Esinde Secondary School has received 20 computers from a well-wisher to boost digital learning.

While delivering them on Wednesday during the institution’s Education Day, Nairobi based business man Dennis Makori said the computers will help teachers and students to programme their studies easily.

“I am a computer literacy expert and I brought these machines here to encourage you to take computer courses as I give back to society.” He said.

He congratulate the 2024 candidates from the school for posting desirable KCSE results and asked the current candidates to copy them.

He asked students to put more effort in science subjects to enable them pass and join careers like Engineering, medicine and aviation that are well paying.

“Let not your home background discourage you, look forward and work hard in class to enable you become whatever you want to be.” He said.

The function was attended by South Mugiranga MP Sylivanus Osoro among other leaders including Kisii County KUPPET Executive Secretary Joseph Abincha and his Chairman Laban Ouko.

All leaders present led by area MP, reaffirmed their commitment towards empowering the youth from the area through quality education.
