Candidates sitting the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) December examinations have until Friday, October 30, 2026, to register and enter for the papers.
In a notice, the board said the examinations will run over four days. They begin on November 30, and end on December 3, 2026.
A wide range of qualifications will be examined across those four days. They include the Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), the Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD) and the Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA). Others are the Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA) and the Diploma in Quality Management (DQM).

The professional courses are also on the timetable. These cover Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS) and Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA). Candidates for Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE), Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE) and Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM) will sit as well.

In addition, the board will examine its vocational certificate courses, namely VCEI, VCGD, VCICS and VCBCT. The Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K), the Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K) and the Certified Quality Professional (CQP) are also included. Finally, two practical papers will be offered: the Business Data Analytics Practical Paper and the Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper.

Foreign Accountancy Qualifications follow a separate schedule. Those candidates will sit on December 1, 2026, and December 3.

Because of the tight timetable, KASNEB urged candidates to plan early. It advised them to make arrangements in good time, including seeking permission from employers where applicable, so that nothing prevents them from sitting the papers.
Students who need details of the courses can get the qualifications brochure free of charge. It can be downloaded from the KASNEB website at www.kasneb.or.ke. Printed copies are available at KASNEB offices and at KASNEB counters in Huduma Centres in Nairobi GPO, Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kitale, Kakamega, Meru and Thika. Copies can also be collected from Kenya National Library Service branches countrywide and from training institutions offering KASNEB courses.
