Webuye East MP Martin Wanyonyi has officially opened a modern and well equipped Science laboratory for the Junior Secondary School (JSS) section of Webuye ACK Day and Boarding Primary School.
The laboratory was funded by the area NGCDF.
In his interaction with teachers, parents and students, Wanyonyi registered confidence that learners will be able to carry out their practical lessons effectively.
The first term lawmaker said that he plans to ensure that education is given the first priority throughout his tenure as MP.
“We need good results and can only be achieved upon proper utilization of the available resources and materials,” Wanyonyi said.
He further challenged learners to utilize the facility, making use of all available resources and teachers to get good results.
The school in Maraka Ward, Webuye East Constituency, was position one in the entire sub-county in last year’s KCPE.
