Education Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohamed has dissolved the board of Moi Girls School -Nairobi after a student was raped in the dorm recently.
This comes months later after nine students died in a dormitory fire. Eight students died in the dormitory arson on September 2 while another succumbed to her injuries later.
The school’s principal Jael Mureithi has today also opted for early retirement. This is according to the Teachers Service Commission.
