The Ministry of Education (MoE) has named three new Regional Directors (RDs) to replace those who retired from the start of the year.
Those identified for the posts include James Indimuli who has been the Executive Secretary for Drama and Film Festivals at Jogoo House under the Directorate of Field Services. Indimuli has now been dispatched to Rift Valley as the new boss. He replaces Milton Nzioka who retired towards the end of last year. Education News has learnt that the handing over ceremony for the new director is being done today in Nakuru.
Also plucked from the same department and deployed as regional directors is Ruben Kipturgo who now takes charge of Nairobi as the new education sheriff.

Kipturgo, an old hand at MoE, has been in charge of school and college games. He has also served for many years as the Personal Assistant of former PS Belio Kipsang. He takes over from Margaret Lesuuda who also retired.
In the same changes, Ann Kiilu who has been the Murang’a County Education Director, has been promoted and sent to Mombasa as RD. She succeeds Luka Chebet who also retired recently.
Insiders at the Ministry have told Education News that a major reshuffle of field officers was in the offing. They said the changes could come as early as next week.
