MKUparticipates in Dar Trade Fair

Mount Kenya University (MKU) is participating in this year’s Dar –es- Salaam trade fair where it is showcasing its services in Tanzania as part of a strategy to widen its reach and presence in the region.

The University is seeking to interact with Tanzanian nationals in a bid to make them understand the unique academic opportunities it offers.

MKU head of delegation Prof .Peter Wanderi said the move is in line with the signing of an agreement between Kenya and Tanzania to eliminate the barriers hindering the smooth flow of trade and people between the two neighbouring nations.

“MKU has trained many Tanzanians in different fields. The Dar fair offers MKU alumni now employed in public and private organizations and the self-employed, the opportunity to interact with their alma mater right in their own country,” Wanderi said.

Over the years, MKU has been training human resource professionals from the region and Tanzania is among the beneficiaries.
