Matili Friends Secondary School in Bungoma County will stage girls’ soccer trials on September 13 and 14, 2025, at its school grounds in Kimilili. The exercise is aimed at identifying and nurturing fresh talent as the institution seeks to bolster its girls’ football team.
In a circular released by the school and signed by Principal Horman Okayana, the trials are open to Form Two and Form Three students on limited slots, as well as Junior Secondary School learners.
Prospective players are required to present their original birth certificate, KCPE certificate for those in upper forms, and appropriate playing kits or training attire.

The school, located along the Kimilili–Misikhu road next to Matili TTI, confirmed that the notice was formally approved on August 26, 2025.
Well regarded for its strong tradition in sports, Matili Friends Secondary expressed confidence that the trials will draw talented players capable of lifting the school’s performance in inter-school competitions.
