Makueni High Court reaches out to the needy

Makueni High Court in conjunction with other partners has donated food to children’s home to cushion during this hard time of corona pandemic.

Presiding judge Hedwig Ong’undi said they donated food and non-food stuffs to Makueni Children’s Home and AIC Kathonzweni Children’s Home.

The judge decried the rising number of teenage pregnancies in the country noting that girls from vulnerable households have been greatly affected.

“I am worried since many abusers are taking advantage of such girls. They are luring them with money then end up abusing them. This is becoming a big challenge to the parents and the judiciary. I will still remind such men that they will face the law if they don’t keep off young girls,” she said.
