The Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has said that schools should submit a list of Primary school teachers with degrees, Masters and PHD to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) and the Education Ministry so that they can be considered for promotion.
Speaking during the KEPSHA AGM held at Sheikh Zayed Childrn’s Welfare Centre in Mombasa, he said that the government in collaboration with TSC will promote primary school teachers with higher qualifications to enable them to work in a more effective way.
“When vacancies in the TSC and Education Ministry are advertised teachers with higher qualifications in the country should be considered first,” Machogu added.
