Kenya Union of Post Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Taita Taveta Executive Secretary Shedrack Mutungi has now landed a top job in the County Government under Governor Andrew Mwadime.
Mutungi is now the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Youth, Sports, Gender, Culture and Social Services after his appointment was approved by Members of the County Assembly (MCAs).
He was among the few vocal branch bosses who vehemently opposed the Teacher Professional Development (TPD) which was rolled out by Teachers Service Commission (TSC) in September 2021.
