The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has released the placement results for students wishing to join Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) and Teachers Training Colleges (TTC).

In an announcement released on Wednesday, August 23rd, the placement agency encouraged students to log in to the student portal on the KUCCPS website to access their placement results.

“Results for placement to KMTC and TTC are out. Successful applicants have been notified by Short Messaging Service (SMS),” KUCCPS stated.

To check the placement results online, applicants should visit the KUCCPS students portal ( http://students.kuccps.net ) and log in to their account details.

The student’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) index number is to be used as a user name then they should indicate their KCSE year.

To access the account, the applicant is also required to provide a password which should be the birth certificate number or Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) index number.

By clicking the login button after following the procedure above, they will be able to see the branch and course that they have been placed in.

The placement criteria were based on merit and competition and if a student fails to find their placement results, it then means that they were not successful.

“Students who have been placed will receive a communication on how to get their admission letters,” said KUCCPS.

A while ago, the process of placing students at KMTC had been temporarily stopped after parliament directed KUCCPS to stop selecting students and let KMTC handle the process but the disagreement has now been addressed and students can proceed with the admission process.
