KNUT has now recommended that teachers meet with the Head of State annually.
Speaking during the Union’s 65th Annual Delegates’ Conference in Nyayo Stadium, the Union Secretary General Collins Oyuu said it was one of the resolutions of the Union Delegates.
Oyuu said the Union’s visit to the Statehouse brought goodies as the president responded to the Union’s memorandum.
President Ruto instructed TSC to review the CBA implementation period to either 2 or 3 years.

He directed the Ministry to release capitation in full at the tabulated ratio, among other recommendations.
Basic Education Principal Secretary Bitok said the government will release capitation on time to ensure schools run without interruption.
Bitok assured teachers that the government will work with them to implement their demands.

He said school fees for senior schools remain unchanged, and all KJSEA students will join senior schools next year.
KNUT national Chairman Patrick Karinga called on teachers to support their new health medical scheme, which he said is a source of hope for teachers.
