Kitale police are on the hunt for a female suspect linked to the fatal stabbing of a 25 year old Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) final year student.
Benedict Kiptoo was on the verge of completing his studies ad was set to graduate soon.
The tragic incident occurred in Kibomet, a suburb on the outskirts of Kitale, during an altercation believed to have been fueled by a personal dispute. Witnesses and authorities allege that the suspect, identified as Mercy Masika, also known by her nickname Nancy Faiza, attacked Kiptoo, plunging a knife into the left side of his neck.
Despite efforts by Dr Evans Letting to save him, Kiptoo succumbed to his injuries due to excessive blood loss.
