Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) CEO, David Njeng'ere.

The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) has maintained that the 2023 KCPE results for  Kitengela International School were accurate.

The national examiner stated that due verification had been done using all the approved methods and the results of all subjects were affirmative.

The school, based in Kajiado County, had raised complaints about the unlikely results they received, with their top student scoring 353 out of 500 marks.

KNEC also mentioned that the Insha and Composition results were marked in accordance with the rules and regulations, alongside other schools in the country.

Despite the initial protests from parents and schools, claiming that the results did not reflect their children’s true abilities, KNEC stands by the accuracy of the marks.
