Kenyenya Sub-county Director of Education George Ouma is satisfied with his sub county’s preparedness to present well-armed participants for the county Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) games this term.
“Games teachers from various schools have demonstrated unwavering team spirit by training their teams consistently until they reached sub county level and now we are moving to face our competitors at the county with confidence,” he said.
The director asked teachers and parents to encourage learners to participate in sports to realize their potential because it is of on ne the requisites of the Competence Based Curriculum (CBC) in the country.

Kisii County JSS First Term games that will feature handball, basketball among other activities will involve both boys and girls from the 11 sub counties in the region.
Gucha South of South Mugirango Constituency will host the Kisii County JSS competitions from tomorrow.
Sporting activities will take place at Nyamarmbe, Nduru Girls and Nduru Boys Schools.
Sports officials have asked all participants to uphold high degree of discipline to enable the ceremony to end successfully.
