Kenya Universities Staff Union (KUSU) and Kenya Union of Domestic, Hotels, Educational Institutions, Hospitals, and Allied Workers (KUDHEIHA) at Kibabii University are set to stage a picket starting today, October 11, 2023.
According to their letter addressed to the Vice Chancellor of the institution, their demand is the immediate payment of Internal CBA arrears for the period 2017-2021.
This action, in accordance with Article 37 of the Kenyan Constitution, has been prompted by the university management’s failure to honour their commitments despite signed agreements.
