Programme for KESSHA county conferences released

The Kenya Secondary Schools Heads Association (KESSHA) is set to hold county conferences across the country and has released the schedule for events in different counties.

The school principals in Turkana County will kick off the conference on 24th to 28th April in Kisumu, while Kajiado principals will be at a Mombasa Beach from 24th to 29th April.

Elgeyo Marakwet school heads will be in Nairobi from 23rd to 27th of April. On the other hand, Nandi county principals will be in Kisumu from 2nd up to 5th April and there will be a student’s conference at Samoei Boys on 22nd March.

The Trans-Nzoia principals will be at Kisumu from 24th-28th April as their counterparts from Bomet will be having their conference from 1st up to 4th May in Eldoret. Also the ones from Kericho will be in Kisumu from 24th -28th April.

Grand Royal Swiss, Kisumu will host the teachers from Nakuru from 1st -5th May as well as the students’ conference from 20th up to 22nd April. At the same time, Uasin Gishu County school heads will be at Nanyuki from 24th– 28th April as the student conference scheduled to happen on 11th March at Wareng School in Eldoret.

Kisumu will host West Pokot principals as Kitale is set to be the host of the Narok principals from 21st– 26th April and 24th -28th April respectively.

Laikipia and Busia county head teachers will be at Nakuru from 1st– 5th May. Their counterparts from Mandera, Wajir and Garissa will be in Kisumu all from 30th April -4th May 2023.

Pride Inn Mombasa will house the teachers from Makueni from 20th -24th April; Machakos School heads will also be in Mombasa also together with their Embu Counterparts from 25th-28th April and 30th April -3rd May respectively. Also Kitui head teachers will be in Mombasa’s Reef Hotel from 25th -27th April.

Those from Isiolo County will meet in Mombasa from 25th up to 28th April as those from Taita –Taveta County are set to meet in Kisumu from 1st -7th May.

The coastal region, that’s the teachers from Kwale and Lamu will be at Kisimu from 23rd– 28th April and 1st -5th May respectively at Travellers Hotel.

Kirinyaga and Kiambu school heads will be at Travellers Inn, Mombasa and Sai Rock- Mombasa from 23rd -29th April and 24th -27th April respectively. Also their colleagues from Nyandarua will be in Mombasa from 30th April up to 6th May 2023.

At the same time, Nyamira, Homa Bay, Kisumu and Kisii county head teachers will be in Nakuru from; 24th-28th May, 2nd– 5th May, 23rd -27th April, and 24th– 29th April respectively.

Lastly, Siaya and Nairobi teachers will be in Mombasa from 30th April-4th May and 20th– 24th April respectively as their counterparts from Migori will be at Royal Swiss, Kisumu.

Nonetheless, Nyeri, Tharaka Nithi, Meru, Mombasa and Bungoma county head teachers had already finished their conferences as at late last month.

On the other hand, the KESSHA national conference will take place in Mombasa from 26th-30th June. The national students leaders conference is set to take place between 24th– 28th April with Mang`u High or Maryhills Girls likely to host the event.

The African Confederation of Principals Conference and International Confederation of Principals Council meeting will take place from 29th-31st August and September in Esibayeni, Matsapha- Swaziland and Lapland, Finland respectively.
