A Kenyan student studying in the United Kingdom has made a heartfelt appeal for financial assistance after a sudden family crisis left him unable to clear outstanding university tuition fees, putting his education at risk.
Hesbon Kipchirchir says he urgently needs to raise Sh700,000 to settle the unpaid balance before the situation worsens and completely affects his studies.
According to the student, the financial difficulties began after unforeseen family circumstances disrupted the normal flow of tuition payments.
The crisis, he says, has placed immense pressure on him as an international student trying to continue with his education abroad.
“I am an international student in the UK, and due to an unforeseen family situation beyond our control, my tuition payments fell behind,” he explained in his appeal.
University restrictions
Kipchirchir revealed that the university has already imposed restrictions because of the outstanding balance.
He says access to some learning materials has been limited, while his examination results have also been withheld until the fees are fully cleared.

The student is now calling on Kenyans, friends, and well-wishers to support his education journey through financial contributions or by helping share his appeal online to reach more people.
