Kenya has secured both slots in the girls’ volleyball final at the 2026 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSA) Games after Mwitoti and Kesogon registered convincing semi-final victories in Morogoro, Tanzania.
Mwitoti produced a dominant display to sweep Rwanda’s GS Indangaburezi 3-0, while fellow Kenyan side Kesogon also recorded a straight-set victory over Uganda’s Bukedea.
The results mean Kenya will have an all-Kenyan final, guaranteeing the country the girls’ volleyball gold and silver medals.
Strong campaigns
Mwitoti had reached the last four after a strong group-stage campaign, while Kesogon entered the semi-finals unbeaten. Kesogon had topped Pool A after winning all four of their group matches without dropping a set.
The Kenyan teams had been drawn into separate semi-finals, with Kesogon facing Bukedea and Mwitoti taking on GS Indangaburezi. The line-up had raised the possibility of an all-Kenyan final, which has now been confirmed by the semi-final results.
The two sides will now meet in the final as they battle for regional honours, with Kenya seeking to maintain its strong showing in volleyball at the FEASSA Games.

The 2026 FEASSA Games are being held in Morogoro, Tanzania, bringing together secondary school teams from across East Africa in a range of sporting disciplines.
