Kilifi Knut branch Executive Secretary Jonathan Kenga was re-elected after he scored 448 votes to defeat rival Ms Dama Ponda who got 80 votes.
He told Education News that teachers in the area turned out in large numbers and re-elected him to serve them for the second term.
Kenga assured teachers that he will continue to fight for their rights and urged them to continue to supporting him so that he can offer them quality services.
He also asked education stakeholders in the area to cooperate fully and push education standards higher.
His was the only contested position, while all other officials retained their seats unopposed.
Among those elected were Katungo Mwaboza (Vice Executive Secretary) and Humprey Safari (Chairman).
