Kajiado North NG-CDF to construct two primary schools

Kajiado North MP Onesmus Ngogoyo has revealed that the county government is planning to build two primary schools in Ongata ward.

Speaking during an education expo organized by Wadada Pamoja in Ongata Rongai, the MP said the county government will allocate land for an ECDE centre which the Kajiado North NGCDF will later upgrade to a primary school in Kandisi.

Ngogoyo said the Kajiado North NGCDF he has allocated Ksh8 million this financial year to Ole Pasha School for the construction of four classes.

He promised that in the next four years, there will be twelve classes and that his office will work with all education stakeholders to improve the sector.

Former nominated Nairobi County assembly MCA Margaret Mbote, who was the patron of the expo,  said the education fair was organized to sensitize the community on importance of education.

James Kamau, a resident of Rongai, said putting up of the schools will save parents from spending a lot of money as transport for their students.

He noted that lack of schools in the area has led to many parents enrolling their children in schools in Nairobi county.
