Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic has officially announced that its 7th Graduation Ceremony will be held on August 28, 2026, setting the stage for hundreds of trainees to celebrate the successful completion of their studies.
In a notice issued by Chief Principal Dr. Okumu J.W. Odhiambo, the institution said the ceremony will take place at the polytechnic grounds from 8:00 a.m., bringing together graduands, parents, education stakeholders, and members of the public.
The graduation ceremony will honour trainees who have successfully completed various programmes leading to the award of Higher National Diplomas, Diplomas (Level 6), Craft Certificates (Level 5), and Artisan Certificates (Level 4).
Prospective graduands
The management has directed all prospective graduands to clear any outstanding fees, including graduation charges, before the event. The institution further stated that academic clearance for graduating students must be completed by August 17, 2026, as a prerequisite for participation.
Graduands have also been advised to verify their names through their respective academic departments to ensure inclusion in the official graduation list.
The announcement marks a significant milestone for the institution, which continues to strengthen its reputation as a leading technical and vocational training centre in the country.
The graduation ceremony is expected to celebrate not only academic achievement but also the skills and competencies acquired by trainees to meet the demands of Kenya’s evolving job market.
