Laikipia University has scheduled its 14th Graduation Ceremony for the 2025/2026 Academic Year on Thursday, November 26, 2026.
The ceremony will take place at the university's Graduation Pavilion starting at 9am. To accommodate friends, relatives, and members of the public who cannot attend in person, the institution will broadcast the event live on its official website and social media platforms.
The Office of the Registrar for Academic Affairs published the provisional graduation list on the university portal on Friday, October 30, 2026. Candidates listed are required to verify the spelling and order of their names.
Any corrections must be submitted using the online name correction form by Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Management said no name changes or amendments will be allowed after the deadline, and the university will not be held liable for uncorrected errors printed on academic certificates.

Prospective graduands across all levels, including PhD, Master's, Postgraduate Diploma, Bachelor's and Diploma programmes, are required to clear all financial obligations by Friday, November 13, 2026. The payments include outstanding tuition balances, mandatory convocation fees and a Sh500 fee for printing official transcripts, all of which must be paid through the university's official bank accounts.

Convocation fees range from Sh5,500 for Diploma, Undergraduate and Postgraduate Diploma candidates to Sh6,000 for Master's students and Sh7,000 for Doctoral candidates.
Academic regalia will be issued by the respective Deans of Schools on November 23 and 24, 2026, upon submission of gown hiring forms downloaded from the university portal. All hired gowns must be returned by December 18, 2026, to avoid a late return penalty of Sh500 per day.
A full rehearsal is set for Wednesday, November 25, 2026, at 10am at the Graduation Pavilion. Attendance in complete academic attire is mandatory for all participating candidates.

Each graduand will receive one invitation card and two car pass stickers for their guests. Access to the main university grounds will be restricted to vehicles displaying valid passes. Graduands and guests have been advised to arrive early and be seated by 8:30am on graduation day.

Details on certificate collection will be published on the university website after the ceremony. Certificates left uncollected for more than three months will attract an annual storage fee of Sh1,000.
