Maasai Mara University has announced its 14th Graduation Ceremony, inviting prospective graduands from the 2025/2026 academic year, together with their parents, guardians and alumni, to prepare for the event.
The ceremony will be held on Friday, December 4, 2026, at the Graduation Pavilion on the university's main campus. It will begin at 9:00am.
Prospective graduands must clear all outstanding fee balances by Friday, November 13, 2026. The university says those who miss the deadline will be left off the final graduation list.

Graduation and convocation charges differ by level of study. Doctorate candidates will pay Sh7,500, Master's students Sh6,500 and Bachelor's degree candidates Sh5,500. Diploma and Certificate graduands will each pay Sh4,500.

Under Article 4, Section (c) of the university's Alumni Constitution, graduands must also pay an alumni subscription fee of Sh1,000.
All payments must be made through the E-citizen platform via the Jiunge Online Application before the November 13 deadline.
Graduation gowns will be issued at the main campus according to schedules published on the university's website. Each gown hire comes with two guest invitation cards, which are required for entry into the Graduation Pavilion.

Graduands must return rented gowns by Friday, January 8, 2027. A late penalty of Sh1,000 per day, weekends included, will apply after that date.

Attendance at the rehearsal on Thursday, December 3, 2026, at 10:00 am is compulsory. Graduands must attend in full academic regalia. On the day of the ceremony, all guests are expected to be seated by 8:00 am.
The university says the ceremony will be streamed live on its official website and Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person.
